ST series safety sensors are suitable for the monitoring of protective devices on machines without inertia and allow the system in which they are used to reach a safety category up to SIL 3 acc. to EN 62061 as well as up to PL e and Category 4 acc. to EN ISO 13849 1.
\nThese sensors use RFID technology and provide high protection against any manipulation thanks to a unique code transmitted by the actuator. Since they have no mechanical elements, they guarantee a long service life even in applications with frequent operating cycles and under harsh environmental conditions.
\nAs a matter of fact, their protection degree is rated IP67 and IP69K and they mantain the maximum safety level (PL e) even when connecting up to 32 sensors in series.
