NIMMSTA is the manufacturer of the world’s first “smart watch” for industry, enabling freehand scanning workflows that revolutionize logistics and intralogistics. NIMMSTA was founded in Munich in 2019 by the two founders and CEOs of AFR Engineering GmbH (founded in 2009) Florian Ruhland and Andreas Funkenhauser. Based on their many years of experience in product development of industrial PCs at Datalogic, they came up with the idea of HS 50. The young company offers smart software in combination with innovative and robust hardware with touch display, which makes all processes in the company more efficient. The user-friendly and ergonomic wearable solutions are primarily used in the task areas of picking, shipping, manufacturing and assembly.
