With ELECTRIX AI, electrical design processes run up to 99% faster. Intelligent error detection, an intuitive user interface, and the ability to manage complex tasks with simple commands make the software indispensable for electrical designers. Beginners can be productive right away, experts gain time for demanding projects, and companies can counteract the pressures of time constraints and skilled labour shortages. “ELECTRIX AI is fundamentally transforming the way electrical design processes are carried out,” says Axel Zein, CEO of WSCAD GmbH. “The simplification of design steps promises significant productivity gains.”
At the heart of this innovation is the AI Copilot. A click on the button with three stars opens a chat field where the AI assists users in their daily work. Voice or text commands are all it takes to check designs, correct errors, and delegate tasks. Bills of materials (BOM), macros, and components are created and placed in a fraction of the time previously required. Instead of dozens of clicks, a simple command like “Create a bill of materials” is enough – and within seconds, it’s ready. Placing macros takes just 15 seconds, compared to five minutes using conventional methods.
Error detection is just as quick: a simple command is all it takes to scan the circuit diagram for issues such as open connections or missing components. Technical questions, such as wire cross-sections, are answered instantly. For example, the command “Give me a copper wire, blue, 24V DC, 64A” immediately provides the relevant wire attribute.
Beyond time savings, the software impresses with its ease of use. Less experienced users can take on tasks that were previously reserved for experts, while specialists can focus on more complex projects. “This new division of labour boosts productivity and helps companies better manage growing demands,” Zein emphasises.
