Protected against airborne particles, the scalable active energy management device PxtTX from Michael Koch GmbH is particularly suitable as a short-term uninterruptible power supply for electric drives in the textile and wood processing industries. The enclosed housing and passive heat dissipation give airborne particles virtually no chance of settling in the device. As a scalable, active extension of the intermediate circuit capacity of frequency converters and servo controllers, the PxtTX can be used with any manufacturer using plug-and-play technology. With a current load capacity of five amps effective continuous and 40 amps peak compared to storage, the device can generate up to 18 kilowatts of power. The PxtTX can be factory-equipped with a storage capacity of two or four kilojoules.
