The 3D Laser Snapshot Sensor of the LJ-S8000 series is a revolutionary sensor with an integrated scanning mechanism. Thanks to the movable laser light source and receiving unit, additional components such as lighting, positioning units, or encoders are eliminated compared to conventional systems. This enables “plug-and-play” quality inspections of shape, geometry and dimensions.
With a capture speed of up to 0.2 seconds and a repeatability of 0.3 µm, the sensor offers fast and highly precise 100% inline inspections for a wide range of test objects. The Software developed by KEYENCE allows for easy parameterization of the measurement heads in just three steps. Selecting the optimal image capture requires no specialized knowledge, significantly reducing the time and effort needed for setup and reconfiguration.
Thanks to the extensive selection of measurement heads, applications with an impressive field of view up to 640 mm can now be covered. This flexibility allows for the fulfillment of a variety of inspection requirements and adaptation to different geometries and sizes of test objects.
