CPX‑AP‑I is a flexible, decentralized, compact and lightweight automation system with a high degree of protection IP65/IP67. The performance of the system with regard to future requirements for the digital factory is future-proof and has an advantage over a slow point-to-point connection.

The simple structure and high degree of scalability also prepare the CPX‑AP‑I automation system for future applications:

- Easy maintenance access to the system via Ethernet
- Up to 80 individual modules/valve islands per string
- Optionally with 50 m cable length between the modules
- Electrical connections M8 or M12
- Real-time capability
