The HE1G-L enabling switches are available with or without an integrated emergency stop switch and are designed for use by secondary operators in robotic cells. Based on human behavior studies, which show that operators tend to instinctively both press and release in panic situations, the Off-On-Off function provides a high level of safety. Compared to the standard HE1G grip switch, the HE1G-L requires less actuation force to reach the ON position.
