Compact and flexible embedded PC at the highest level

Every application in mechanical and plant engineering is different and often requires a compact and flexible embedded PC. The Spectra PowerBox 3000 series embedded PCs have met these requirements since their first generation. The current generation of the Spectra PowerBox 3000E series utilizes Comet Lake processors in conjunction with the Intel® W480E chipset. Numerous high-performance processor options are available, ranging from the 65-watt Core™ i9-10900E with 10 cores and up to 4.7 GHz to the 80-watt Xeon® W-1270E processor with 8 cores and 4.8 GHz. In the highest configuration, an external, temperature-controlled PWM fan is used under full load; otherwise, the Spectra PowerBox 3000E series box PCs operate fanless. A "comfort LED" indicates at all times whether the system's internal temperature is within the permissible operating temperature range. Two DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM modules, up to 64 GB, support the powerful processors. The integrated Intel® UHD-630 graphics chip allows for the connection of three independent displays via HDMI, VGA, and DisplayPort. Depending on the model, a graphics card up to 235 mm x 111 mm in size with a maximum power consumption of 110 watts can be installed. This can be perfectly cooled with an optional forced-air fan kit. The Spectra PowerBox 3000E series is available in three heights. Depending on the model, up to two PCI/PCIe expansion cards and three additional Mini-PCIe modules can be installed for customized application adaptation. Additional interface cutouts are already provided for this purpose. Optional expansions with 4 x GbE or 4 x PoE are easily implemented via plug-and-play. This allows for a total of up to 20 LAN ports. The wide range of expansion options makes it very easy and flexible to adapt the PowerBox to your specific application.
