As much as necessary, as little as possible: often more film is used than is needed. Consumption can be reduced by knowing about the optimal use of materials.
We use a mobile, computer-aided testing device to measure the holding forces on a loaded pallet. In just a few minutes, we objectively compare different stretch films and machine settings and can draw direct conclusions about the degree of pallet security. In this way you can find out whether a reduced-thickness film with less material consumption is an option. With the measurement data determined, it is also possible to set different automatic stretch machines to a uniform winding pattern.
