MAJOR CHARACTERISICS
\nMaterial: It\u2019s made from a new material (Polyolefins, same family as PP and PE).
\nPole design: Single-piece structure, hollow inside
\nTemperature resistance: Suitable for negative temperatures, though resistance decreases compared to positive temperatures (testing in progress)
\nAvailable in 3 sizes:
\nDiameter 150 mm, Height = 500 mm: Resistance over 2500J (testing in progress)
\nDiameter 200 mm, Height = 800 mm
\nDiameter 200 mm, Height = 1200 mm: Comparable to GRD 200 CLASS 3, 7500 Joules, with UNI testing
\nFixings: 4x S12x150mm bolts + M12 oversized washers
\nFixings are visible but within the pole’s footprint, preventing forklift wheels from running over them.
\nOutdoor use: Suitable, though no data is currently available on actual longevity.
\nFlammability: Not self-extinguishing, rated HB under UL94.
\nCost: To be defined. It will be less costly than GRD.
\nASI index: Likely the lowest on the market (Class A). Indicates the intensity of the backlash on a vehicle\u2019s driver upon impact. Grade A is the best one possible, which means every impact on it is also safe for the vehicle conductor.
\nNo metal plate advantages:
\nNo issues in corrosive or high-salinity environments.
\nBetter floor preservation (anchors will bend the pole rather than come loose).
\nHygiene: As a single-piece product, it is clean and has no areas where dirt can accumulate.
